Youth SUP Training Camp – Master the Basics with Ease!

Over two fun-filled half-days, our experienced and professional coaches from the Association will provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable introduction to the world of paddleboarding. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary – we welcome complete beginners! Our friendly coaching team starts with the very basics, guiding everyone step-by-step to build skills and confidence on the water.

Under their expert guidance, you’ll learn all the fundamental paddleboarding techniques. This includes the correct ways to paddle while lying down, kneeling, and eventually standing, as well as mastering your posture and balance on the board. We’ll also teach you the proper way to hold your paddle for maximum efficiency and how to confidently control your board – moving forwards, backwards, turning smoothly, and stopping safely. Importantly, water safety rules and awareness are a key part of the course, ensuring everyone has a great time in a secure environment.

This camp is specially designed for young people aged 8 to 19, with course content and teaching methods tailored to their specific age group and learning styles. Upon successful completion of the camp, participants will be awarded our official SUP Beginner Certificate*, recognizing their newfound skills and achievements.

Training Duration: 2 days (2 half-day sessions)

How to Register:

  • Please select the first session’s date and time as well as your age group using the calendar below.
  • For example, if you select 23/8, 14:00–17:30, your second session will be on 24/8, 14:00–17:30.

*Participants who complete the course will receive a digital SUP Beginner Certificate issued by our association.

  • If there are less than 4 people, we might arrange for you to join another group. Program might be cancelled if there are less than 4 people joined
  • Coach & Student ratio at 1:4

Booking:

  • Your booking is NOT confirmed until you have received our confirmation email.
  • Please provide your Booking ID# to the coach when you arrive.

What do I need to bring?

  • You are suggested to bring water, water shoes (cover heel and toes), sunglasses (with a floating belt) and a hat. Please put on sunscreen and insect repellent before the event. You may need dry clothes for changing after the event.
  • Please wear water shoes / sports shoes for the event. Flip flops are NOT recommended.
  • To start the event on time, please kindly change your clothes and settle your personal belongings in advance.
