Our SUP Intermediate Program is ideal for those who have passed our SUP Beginner program.
Our instructor will guide you to paddle in the open water, experience paddling in difficult conditions (such as choppy water and heavy wind), learn intermediate SUP skills to overcome such conditions, and improve your overall paddling speed and efficiency.
SUP Intermediate Program breaks down into 3 sub-schemes (Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards)
Students who completed SUP Beginner Program can enrol in the Intermediate Program by signing up the Bronze Award first.
The general steps to complete the entire intermediate program are as follows:
1. SUP Beginner Program
↓
2. SUP Intermediate Program – Bronze Award
↓
3. SUP Intermediate Program – Silver Award
↓
4. SUP Intermediate Program – Gold Award
Certificates will be issued upon each step completion
Program Duration and Examinations
Bronze Award:
4 hours lesson with 2 km paddling exam in open water condition (Time limit: 45 mins)
Silver Award:
8 hours lesson with 4 km touring exam in open water condition (Time limit: 75 mins)
Gold Award:
2 sets of 6 hours lessons, with 6 km touring exam in open water condition (Time limit: 120 mins)

Entry Requirement
SUP Certificate of the prior level issued by the Hong Kong, China Surf and Standup Paddle Association
Able to swim 50 meters without assistance
