Why Choose the Hong Kong, China Surf and Standup Paddle Association?

  • The Hong Kong, China Surf and Standup Paddle Association issues SUP qualifications through its certification framework. Training with the Association means your certificate is issued directly by the body that operates the qualification framework.
  • Skill progression follows a structured pathway: Beginner, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level develops technique, water-reading, and rescue skills in sequence.
  • All instructors hold International Surfing Association (ISA) qualifications. The Association operates primarily at Sai Kung.
  • The Beginner certification is the entry point to the Association’s progression pathway, leading into intermediate and advanced training as well as the Association’s race programme.

What do I need to bring?
